Bugle Boy signals titanium advance

The first titanium frames to be offered by Marine Optical will be released next month under the marketing slogan, 'Titanium for everyone'.

The two new frames, Bugle Boy BB73 and BB74, will be the first of five titanium models in the Ti100 collection to be introduced this year. Monet Mt90 and Mt92 will be released in October and the Monet Mt92 will be available from November. The titanium frames are available in four colours - brown, burgundy, grey and tortoise - and two sizes, 48/20-140 and 51/20-145. The company says the models are thin and light, and feature intricate detail. Marine Optical has also released a new Joan Collins frame. The J-295 (below) is a metal frame with a hint of angularity; the extra-thin monel eyewire and bridge give a contemporary, low profile. The frame comes in four colours - gold, lilac, mink and sable, and can accommodate progressive or bifocal lenses. - Further information on 00 390 49938 7478.
