Burnley-based Eyesite Opticians held an open day to celebrate its new ownership and partnership with a local charity supporting veterans.
Optometrist Amir Hussain, who has been qualified for 16 years, is the new owner and joined long-serving staff members, Christine Berry and Janet Cuff.
Eyesite has also partnered with Healthier Heroes CIC, which supported veterans with living accommodation, and will provide free eye examinations to its residents.
Hussain told the Burnley Express: ‘We have adopted Healthier Heroes as our charity and will continue to provide this free service to anyone they recommend in the future.’
