Cardiff University's School of Optometry and Vision Sciences has announced a new postgraduate taught programme.
Around 20 modules can be taken on a freestanding basis to gain CET points or gathered towards a postgraduate certificate, diploma or an MSc in clinical optometry.
The modules include low vision, acute eye care, paediatric optometry, neurology, imaging, evidence-based optometry and clinical audit, research skills, clinical teaching skills for optometrists, leadership skills, eye care in diabetes, tear film disorders, glaucoma, learning disabilities, returning to UK optometry, legal aspects of UK optometry and an in-practice research project.
Successful completion of Welsh Eye Care Initiative and LOCSU courses can also be put towards the course.
