Alcon has opened applications for its Scholarship Programme, which the company said aimed to give newly qualified optometrists insights and education through extensive training.
The two-year course, launched in 2014, aids recently graduated optometrists, between two and five years after registration, in growing their clinical, professional and commercial acumen.
Four two-day modules will take place at Alcon’s academy in Surrey and a fifth will be held in Germany. Successful applicants will gain insights into running a practice, meet like-minded professionals and help them to see how else they can add value to not only the profession, but to their patients.
