​French supermarket launches own optician and hearing care network

French supermarket Carrefour has launched its own optician and hearing care network in partnership with cooperative chain Atol.

The new concept, Carrefour Optique et Audition, was hoped to launch early next year, with both stores and a digital presence.

‘This collaboration illustrates that Carrefour intends to expand its number of customer services and that Atol wants to reach a complementary customer base,’ a joint statement said.
