Nightwalk

Two hundred fundraisers took to the streets of London last week for the Carrots Nightwalk in aid of eye research charity Fight for Sight. The walk began at the BFI Imax cinema at 11pm and took in London's most famous landmarks on the 15-mile route. Participants visited the Globe Theatre, Tower Bridge, City Hall and St Paul's Cathedral, which all took on a different complexion in the night skies. Michele Acton, Fight for Sight chief executive, said: 'We were so pleased with the turnout. Walking 15 miles in the dark is no mean feat, but living with sight loss is even more difficult that's why the money we've raised is so important in the funding of vital eye research.'
