CET and film premiere on offer at ABDO conference

Delegates at the recent ABDO Conference and Exhibition at Manchester Central were treated to CET events, lively networking, awards and a film première. The gala dinner featured a première of the 2015 ABDO Insight programme produced by the organisation in partnership with ITN Productions.

Insight is a news style programme presented by Natasha Kaplinsky that reports on the latest innovations and best practice in eye care and looks at the ever-widening role of dispensing opticians in the health care system. ABDO said the CET programme, which included streams hosted by the AOP and the BCLA, was warmly received by delegates and included keynote lectures delivered by Dr Nicola Lagan and Dr Maggie Woodhouse.
