CEO Angelo Trocchia
Michele Melotti has been appointed chief financial officer of Safilo following the resignation of Gerd Graehsler earlier this month.
Melotti joined Safilo in 2012 after a period with KPMG Advisory and has held several positions in the company’s financial departments, including senior director of finance and accounting for Western Europe and, most recently, group controlling senior director. He takes up post on August 28, 2023.
Outgoing CFO Graehsler was thanked by Safilo chair Eugenio Razelli and CEO Angelo Trocchia for his significant professional contribution and important support of the group’s financial turnaround and development during his time with the company.
Safilo said Graehsler was leaving to ‘undertake a new professional experience.’
