Charmant strengthens European presence

The eyewear company has announced changes in its senior management commercial structure.

Japanese eyewear producer Charmant has announced changes in its senior management commercial structure.

‘Despite the external factors happening in the world today with the pandemic, economic and social situations, Charmant Europe is forging ahead with plans in all areas of business to consolidate and grow our presence within Europe,’ explained Satoshi Otsuki, Charmant’s Europe president. Otsuki was appointed to his role on January 1, 2020.

The CEO of Charmant Group, Masao Miyachi, added: 'We are delighted that Otsuki has taken on the role of president. All at Charmant Europe look forward to supporting him in the achievement of his goals.'

The company’s current senior vice president for Northern Europe, Chris Beal, will become executive vice president for Europe, while Laurent Boussion, commercial director with Charmant France, will become head of operations for Southern Europe.
