CHEC opens in Leicester

Community EyeCare (CHEC) has announced the opening of a new centre in Leicester for services such as cataract surgery, which followed recent openings in Nottingham and Coventry.

Imran Rahman, consultant ophthalmologist and CEO at CHEC, said the new clinic would ease pressures on local NHS services by offering crucial ophthalmology services in the centre of Leicester.

‘At CHEC, giving back to the local community is always our priority and this new centre will allow us to support both the local NHS services and the patients currently needing efficient care,’ Rahman said.
