Norville Opticians in Keynsham near Bristol recently tested the eyesight of two young children from Belarus. Dima Smirnou (second right) and Vania Sharamet (far right) visited the town with charity Chernobyl Children's Life Line which organises recuperative breaks in the UK for children who were or are affected by radioactive fallout from the nuclear explosion in April 1986. The children were tested by optometrist Jenny Edden (second left), who was assisted by interpreter Valentina Charopka (far left).
