Christmas handover at FMO for Topcon’s Andy Yorke

Topcon MD Andy Yorke takes over at FMO

Members of the Federation of Manufacturing Opticians (FMO) gathered at the Amba Charing Cross Hotel in London last week for the organisation’s annual luncheon.

Topcon MD Andy Yorke took over as chairman from Mark Truss, see picture, who during an AGM paid special tribute to board director Barry Dibble for his role in overseeing the transfer of Optrafair exhibition management to the Mark Allen Group.

Truss also emphasised the need for the sector to work together and the important role of the Optical Confederation.

The FMO, which invests its share of Optrafair income in the sector, also donated a cheque for to the Optical Workers’ Benevolent Fund, accepted by Frank Norville.
