CIBA Vision gives extended powers to toric range

? CIBA Vision's Focus Dailies Toric with AquaComfort will be available from mid October in cylinder powers of -0.75D and -1.50D at 90 degrees and 180 degrees axes.

With the addition of the -1.50D cylinder, the company said eye care professionals can now fit the majority of astigmatic patients. A blink-activated moisturising agent PVA and double thin-zone lens design provides astigmatic patients with 'all-day comfort' while the toric back surface gives 'excellent optics and fit'.

The company added that the one base-curve, tri-curve design fits a majority of eyes, reducing fitting time and inventory requirements.

Manufactured with CIBA's patented Lightstream Technology and Nelfilcon A, the lenses were created to provide easy handling and excellent all-day comfort, it added.
