Marcella McParland, CIBA Vision UK's head of professional affairs, is to leave the company to work on a freelance consultancy basis after over 14 years of service.
CIBA Vision UK's managing director, Howard Barnes, said: 'It is with great regret that we say goodbye to Marcella. Since joining CIBA Vision she has worked tirelessly to produce the highest standards for the company and has grown and developed a strong and committed professional affairs team.'
McParland will be replaced by fellow optometrist Mark Draper who joined CIBA in 2005 as a professional marketing manager.
He added: 'Mark Draper is a familiar face and a respected face in the industry. We are thrilled that he has decided to accept the position of head of professional affairs.'
