In the September 16 In Focus article titled, ‘Ad watchdog steps in over practice’s dyslexia claims,’ Cerium Visual Technologies (CVT) was named by Optician as the manufacturer of the intuitive colorimeter referenced within the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) ruling.
Optician sourced this information from an interview with Fred Templeman of Templeman Opticians after the ruling was published.
Optician would like to clarify that CVT was not referenced in the ASA’s ruling and the company states it was not involved in the investigation. In addition, CVT denies the explanation made by Templeman during the ASA’s investigation that the company verified the content posted on the Templeman Opticians website.
