4-EyesHammonds Eye Practice and Mansons Eyecare in London and 4 Eyes Opticians in Loughborough were the winners of Clearlab’s Halloween contact lens window display challenge.

Practices were asked promote a safe use of cosmetic lenses by encouraging patients to visit their ECPs instead of taking the risk to buy them online or at fancy dress stores. 4 Eyes Opticians’ ‘create a scare’ promotion targeted students around its Loughborough student’s union location to warn them of the dangers of buying cosmetic contact lenses through non-optical channels.

Patients were given a check-up before purchase and the practice used social media to promote its message. Pictured is 4 Eyes optometrist Harpreet Mann (left) receiving her prize from Clearlab area manager Clio Whinray.
