Clearlab eyes UK market

Singapore-based contact lens manufacturer Clearlab has signalled its plans for the UK market with its presence at Optrafair London.

Clearlab lenses are already available as branded products elsewhere in Europe and to a small number of customers in the UK, as well as via private label. The company’s full lens portfolio will now be marketed in the UK, including the Clear1-day biocompatible daily disposable, the premium Clear 58, 55 and 38 hydrogel lenses, and the Clearcolor range of cosmetic and fun designs.

Clearlab recently opened a new supply and customer service centre in Reading, Berkshire where all stock will be carried.

Newly appointed sales manager for Europe, Dominique Gastaldi told Optician that Clearlab was a ‘mass market not niche’ manufacturer.
