Clearlab plays on football frenzy

There has been mounting excitement around Euro 2016 in the Optician office and last month the chance arrived to sample team colour contact lenses from Clearlab.

Optician sales manager and contact lens wearer Darren Ward was a particularly good sport – agreeing to wear the England flag across his cornea despite the country’s indifferent form at recent tournaments.

Clearlab’s collection of zero power contact lenses, Phantom, were expanded to the colours of leading teams including Germany, Spain and Italy ahead of the tournament in France.

The lenses appeared particularly patriotic in the context of the occasion as we headed to the local pub, although without the football on they could have easily been mistaken for a Halloween accessory.
