Clegg backs Eye Health Week

Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg MP backed National Eye Health Week (September 17-23) when he met Ceri Jackson, chair of the National Eye Health Week steering group in Wales.

'I am delighted to support the work of National Eye Health Week in promoting the importance of eye health. Many of us would be terrified at the thought of losing our sight, but we are not always aware of the best way to look after our eyes. National Eye Health Week is a great time to commit to having regular sight tests as part of our health routines,' said Clegg.
