David Clulow Sunglasses has launched an expansion programme with 43 new concessions in House of Fraser (HoF) department stores, creating over 50 new jobs.
Of these stores, four will be full-time concessions - Jenners Edinburgh, HoF Croydon, London City and Newcastle, and 39 will be seasonal stores running from March 1 to the end of September. The company said that the roll-out followed the success of 13 existing David Clulow Sunglasses concessions within HoF stores.
The roll-out started on February 1 with a seasonal store in Loch Lomond and other stores in Edinburgh, Carlisle and Newcastle have followed. Further destinations include a new opening in Croydon, with Cheltenham, Nottingham, Plymouth, Reading and Sheffield to follow.
Richard Peck, managing director Luxottica retail UK and Ireland, commented: 'We are delighted to be able to work with House of Fraser on providing a high quality and fashionable sunglasses range to their customers on both a full time and seasonal level. This is a great way to take the David Clulow offering to key cities throughout the UK and we are very happy to be working with such a high profile department store.'
In addition to the HoF roll-out, Sunglass Hut has started a programme of seasonal concessions with Debenhams stores in locations including London's Oxford Street, Birmingham, Cardiff, Liverpool and Westfield London running from February 14 until the end of September.
