To coincide with its 30th anniversary, Gloucestershire prescription lens laboratory Sinclair Optical Services has launched its latest anti-reflective coating.
Easiclean HDUV is the latest version of the company’s established Easiclean coating brand and was said to offer spectacle wearers complete front and back UV protection.
On the coating, Sinclair’s managing director Nigel Corbett said: ‘Many of today’s lenses can filter harmful UV hitting the front surface of the lens but do nothing about light reflected off the back surface. Our Easiclean HDUV coating provides patients with the piece of mind that they are receiving the best possible lens protection against the serious and lasting damage that excessive exposure to UV can cause.’
