Supported by the British Universities Committee of Optometry, the College of Optometrists will be launching a new research symposium to run alongside the Optometry Tomorrow conference from March 8-9.
According to the College, the programme comprises a broad range of presentations. These will include lecturers from a number of UK universities, College research fellows, postgraduate students in vision sciences and ophthalmic optics, and optometrists who have completed projects funded by the College’s iPRO programme.
The theme will be ‘Research and the real world: connecting practice and research’. The College said that it would provide the opportunity for practitioners to forge links with researchers with diverse interests and backgrounds.
