
Tips for eye health during the darker months of winter have been issued by the College.
Advice for those working from home has been included as days become shorter, with the College reminding workers to sit closer to windows if possible and wear sunglasses on brighter days.
The College added that those suffering from dry eyes should lower the temperature of the room they're in where possible.
Daniel Hardiman-McCartney, the College’s clinical adviser, explained: 'As winter approaches, you may notice an increased need to wear your glasses. This is because when there is less light available, your pupil expands which reduces the eye's depth of focus.
