College launches pre-reg jobs board

An online pre-registration placement jobs board has been launched by The College of Optometrists.

The board went live on the College’s website this month advertising placements for students looking to start in either 2015 or 2016. It was promoting nearly 50 placements.

Jackie Martin, director of education at the College, said: ‘The jobs board was developed in response to feedback from our student members, who told us that they would find a resource like this invaluable. Finding a pre-reg placement can be a difficult time for students, and we want to help them by putting them in touch with our supervisors.’
