College meets first year students

First-year optometry students around the country have been meeting the College of Optometrists as part of a series of roadshows taking place this autumn. The College has been meeting students, such as those from Manchester (pictured), to introduce them to their professional body and tell them about the support available during their time at university. College director of member services and communications Ian Humphreys said: ‘These events are a great way of introducing new students to the College and to the profession while providing some early advice and guidance about the Scheme for Registration to those who are now thinking about the next stage of their studies.’
