College of Optometrists names new fellows

College of Optometrists life fellowships will be awarded to three eye care professionals next month.

The will be presented to Professor Roger Anderson, professor of Vision Science at the University of Ulster, Dr Robert Harper, consultant optometrist at the Royal Manchester Eye Hospital, and Professor John Flanagan, dean of University of California Berkeley School of Optometry, at the College’s annual diploma ceremony on November 10.

Professor Harminder Dua, chair and professor of ophthalmology at University of Nottingham, was to become an honorary fellow.
