Proponents of Colorimetry will meet in London next March to discuss the use of colour in vision and to herald the formation of a new pressure group.

Speaking at the Association of British Dispensing Opticians conference and exhibition, Claire Armstrong, professional services manager at Cerium, said the International Institute of Colorimetry would host the conference at The Royal Society in London on March 10 and 11. The event, entitled 'Colorimetry in clinical vision science and education', would also form the inaugural meeting of the new lobby group.

'Cerium is a commercial company, so a group of people has come together to promote the use of colour,' said Armstrong.
