Belgian manufacturer Theo has released the Water-l'eau collection of ophthalmic frames. Theo has a reputation for leftfield designs and colours and the new collection, which should find favour with more adventurous patients, features a new colour-blocking technique.
The Nivo (above) frame has taken the cat's eye concept as a blueprint and then given it a twist. The lens shape has an almost conventional style, but the angled temples, which connect to the frame at the nose bridge, give the frame that ubiquitous Theo style. The Carro (below) frame uses the technique to connect the temples, but has a more conservative shape.
