Rodenstock’s Combi 400, showcased at this year’s Mido, is a luxurious refraction unit with solid aluminium and wooden arm and foot rests plus black Alcantara leather covered refraction chair.
Main operations are controlled electromotively via a user-friendly control panel while two light sources create extensive overhead and direct illumination ideal for low vision.
The wooden instrument table is equipped for two instruments and can be navigated ‘effortlessly and silently’ by the electromotive control panel.
The height-adjustable phoropter arm can be tilted to facilitate a comfortable angle for reading, further assisted by an extra light source.
Also fully adjustable is the refraction chair which can be pivoted away to allow easy access for wheelchairs.
