86% of commercial drivers visiting the Vision Van are overdue a sight test
Eighty six percent of professionals from the road and transport industry visiting the Vision Express Vision Van at the Commercial Vehicle Show were found to be overdue a sight test.
The multiple’s Vision Van offered free eye tests to visitors, who included regular HGV drivers, and also found that 84% of those that had their eyes tested needed new prescriptions.
Worryingly, 20% of visitors had never had an eye test and 12% admitted to not having an eye exam since passing their driving test.
