The Contact Lens Stalwarts holds its seventh annual social event
The Contact Lens Stalwarts held its seventh annual social event for people involved in the contact lens industry since the 1960s and 70s on November 29.
It has been organised by Ian Mcdermot since 2015 after the original organiser and contact lens practitioner Michael Jaggs passed away.
This year’s event saw attendees from across the contact lens profession, including several ex-British Contact Lens Association presidents, chairmen of the Association of Contact Lens Manufacturers, Masters of the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers and around 12 delegates who have been managing directors of successful contact lens manufacturing companies, all of whom have made significant contributions to the industry.
