Continental Eyewear recently held its annual golf day at Mere Golf Club in Cheshire, where 90 players competed for the Continental Cup. The winner was Brian Bowles from London with 38 points - a record for this particular competition.

The Best Gross prize for a 76 went to Peter McGloin from Belfast, and the furthest traveller prizes went to Jolanda Van Bove and Rob Boon who had travelled from the Netherlands.
