Cool for cats

Italian eyewear manufacturer Super has collaborated with French musical outfit Cool Cats to produce a hand customised pair of special edition sunglasses. Run by Pedro Winter, founder of Ed Banger Records and former manager of legendary dance music act, Daft Punk, the Cool Cats brand, oozes Parisian cool, which is reflected in the new sunglass.

The aim of the project was to recreate the glasses worn by the cat in the Cool Cats logo, and Super worked with closely with its client on the shape of the sunglass. The result is a handmade twist on the Super's tried and tested retro W frame silhouette, with hand finished stripes and logos. Tinted purple Carl Zeiss Vision lenses complete the package.
