CooperVision has appointed Dr Gary Orsborn as its vice president of global professional and clinical affairs.
An announcement in the US confirmed he would be responsible for development and management worldwide, using nearly 30 years of experience in the contact lens industry.
His expertise spanned a variety of areas including medical affairs, management of field clinical studies, development of practitioner educational materials, professional relations and marketing products, said a CooperVision statement.
CooperVision senior vice president of global marketing Jerry Warner added: ‘Gary is well known and respected for his work within the industry, and I know that he will serve us well in this role.’
