Hampshire-based contact lens manufacturer CooperVision has been named runner-up in the Healthiest Workplace category at this year’s Britain’s Healthiest Company Awards.
In total 88 companies and over 27,000 employees took part, with CooperVision recognised at an awards ceremony earlier this month.

The award was presented at a London ceremony on July 1, featuring keynote addresses from Sebastian Coe and Dame Carol Black, chair of the Public Health Responsibility Deal’s Health at Work Network.
CooperVision’s UK manufacturing HR director Andrew Brown said: ‘We are thrilled to be named runner-up in the Healthiest Workplace category at this year’s awards and it’s fantastic to know that our Wellness programme is having such a positive impact on our employees. The programme takes a holistic approach to cover overall general wellbeing, including diet, fitness, motivation, security and benefits.
