Coopervision-webContact lens firm Coopervision hosted a seminar at the top of the Leadenhall Building in London this week to discuss the rising popularity of daily disposable contact lenses.

Practitioners were welcomed by Debbie Olive, country manager of Coopervision UK and Ireland, who went on to apologise for the disruption caused integrating the acquired Sauflon contact lens brand in past months, saying it would from now on be business as usual.

She then introduced guest speakers Professor Nathan Efron and Sarah Morgan, who agreed the contact lens market was working towards becoming almost exclusively made up of daily disposable silicone hydrogel ranges.

The Coopervision seminars also took place at iconic venues in European cities including Frankfurt and Copenhagen this week.
