CooperVision team completes its mission for Optometry Giving Sight

CooperVision teams up with optical professionals to cycle for sight.

Keen cyclists from CooperVision teamed up with optical professionals and industry media to ride the London Revolution to raise money Optometry Giving Sight.

The cycling challenge circumnavigated London in a clockwise route that covered 187 miles over two days, taking in some of the tough climbs of the Surrey hills and Chilterns. All bar one retirement for injury, the team made it home with over 2,000 other riders who were raising funds for a whole host of great causes.

The CooperVision-inspired optical team raised over £6,000 for its chosen charity, Optometry Giving Sight, which will go towards some of the life-changing initiatives they support in under-served regions of the world – targeting the prevention of blindness and impaired vision due to uncorrected refractive error.
