CooperVision has updated its free OptiExpert app with the introduction of a toric calculator.
App users can now input the patient’s most recent spectacle prescription into the toric calculator and an appropriate toric contact lens from the CooperVision range is generated.
This update was intended to compliment the app’s original functionality: converting the Efron Grading Scales into a pocket digital tool for practitioners seeking to transition their presbyopic patients to multifocal contact lenses.
To download the app, speak to a CooperVision representative to obtain the password and then visit the App Store or Google Play Store.
