Copenhagen Specs green lit after restrictions lift

Copenhagen Specs has confirmed the event will go ahead on March 5-6 and be the first eyewear exhibition in the Nordic region to take place in 2022.

Covid-19 restrictions lifted in Denmark on February 1, which organisers said would enable the optical industry to meet again at the Lokomotivværkstedet conference centre in Copenhagen.

Morten Gammelmark, CEO of Copenhagen Specs, said: ‘We are delighted to finally gather the optical business after a very long period under the influence of covid. We look forward to inspiring our visitors with new collections and products from our innovative exhibitors.

‘It has been tough times in the event business, so we are hoping for the same support from exhibitors and visitors, as we did before the pandemic. We will of course still have a lot of focus on the pandemic and will make all necessary measures to ensure exhibitors and visitors.’
