Covrt Project: New kid on the blocker

Covrt Project has introduced blue-light blocking lenses for its optical collection

British streetwear-inspired optical designer Covrt Project gave its natural satin black optical collection a Silmo debut at last month’s show.

Through a collaboration with Zeiss, the brand has made DuraVision Anti-Reflective Sun and BlueProtect lens coating available for its optical collection. The blue-light blocking lenses were introduced to meet shifts in ‘post-pandemic lifestyles’ that involved more screenwork, the company said.

Covrt Project’s optical line includes unisex square frame MP4 Optical, pictured with the new BlueProtect lens coating. The hexagonal-rimmed, futuristic frame is produced in Italy with a layered effect to create visual depth. Details include a double bridge, adjustable arms and temple tips, and silicone nose pads.
