Changes to the online provision of continuing professional development (CPD) by the College of Optometrists will see the closure and transfer of its current CPD Online system.
Development plans and reading lists will be transferred to the main College site next month. Members will be able to export their data to the new location between October 15 and December 31.
The changes were designed to complement the General Optical Council's next CET programme, which begins next year. The College welcomed the addition of peer review in the scheme, saying its own redesigned CPD area would include interactive material on subjects including glaucoma and macular degeneration.
