A new arrival on the high street selling its own brand of spectacle frames said there was room for a new player to shake up the UK optical market.
One year after opening its first practice in Clerkenwell, CrossEyes Eyewear & Optometry has sought more franchise partners to reflect its ‘Scandinavian Personality’ approach.
The Danish company launched its second UK franchise in Amersham on the Hill, Buckinghamshire, this month and exhibited at the annual Clerkenwell Design Week. Three more practices will open by autumn with the overall target of 15 UK locations (News 26.06.15).
CrossEyes has nine franchise partners in Denmark, including a practitioner who bakes bread for customers on-site and another who serenades patients with vinyl records and guitar playing.
