A pair of frames custom made for Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak, have been put up for auction online at Boston-based RR Auction.
The rare pair of Apple rainbow sunglasses were made in 1979 as part of a limited run of 30 frames. Featured on the cover of Steve Carr’s 1984 book, WOZ: the Prodigal Son of Silicon Valley, the vibrant rainbow-coloured lenses cut in the shape of the iconic Apple logo are the frame’s main feature.
Included with the original sleeve, hardshell case and cleaning cloths the frames also come with a signed letter of provenance written by Wozniak.
