Customisable myopia control with Positive Impact

Esencia, a soft, customised contact lens that is CE marked for myopia control in children and teenagers, has been launched by Positive Impact. It is a peripheral addition soft spherical and toric contact lens from the Tiedra pharmaceutical company.  

Nick Atkins, managing director at Positive Impact, said: ‘We’re delighted to add Esencia to our myopia control line-up. In joining the same stable’s ortho-k lens, Alexa AR, alongside NaturalVue Enhanced 1-Day Multifocal, we now have the widest range of contact lens options for myopia control.
