Dancing at awards

It takes two: The final two couples take a bow in the Strictly Optician dance competition at the Optician Awards. Four couples danced the ballroom tango to produce the top two couples to dance the waltz in the final. Pictured (left to right) are eventual winners Craig Bell and partner Jennifer McMillan of Personal Eyes Opticians Glasgow and the runners-up Kate Clarke from Boots Opticians, Basildon and her partner Andrew Lingard-Kay. The other couples dancing the first round were Adrian and Julie Kite of Kite Opticians, Ipswich and David and Elizabeth Farmilo of Farmilo Optometrists, Leicester. Viva Eyewear provided a magnum of champagne and a bouquet of flowers for the winners.
