After forty years practising in Skipton, David Benjamin has retired from his position running Benjamin Opticians.
The well-established practice outgrew its original premises on Sheep Street and moved to its current home in Newmarket Street 15 years ago.
Founded by father Clifford Benjamin in the 50s, the family business would continue under the leadership of dispensing optician Liz Ellis, who has been with the practice over 20 years.
‘He has been my friend, colleague and mentor at Benjamin’s for almost all of my career and I am very proud to be able to continue the tradition and values which Benjamin’s has become renowned for – friendly, local service, quality eyewear and exceptional eye care. I’m sure our patients will join me in wishing him well in his retirement,’ she said.
