The winner of the Oté/Optician competition for own branded contact lens care systems was presented last week with his very own brand of contact lens solutions. Optometrist David Burghardt won a year's supply of all-in-one contact lens solution branded with his own name and practice details.
The winner was chosen after the competition judges decided unanimously that Burghardt's discussion of the value of own branding best captured the benefits of having your own name on a label. 'Having your logo on your patients solution bottle is a great way of raising your profile with patients, and is a constant reminder of who their eye care provider,' Burghardt explained.
