optical group David Clulow has integrated its David Clulow and Optika businesses, previously run as separate divisions of the same company, and relaunched its image. Both brands will trade under the single David Clulow name, incorporating a new logo, store interior and fascia design.
The changes have been made in preparation for a city centre expansion, including an outlet at the Bluewater development in Dartford (Kent), and one in Reading (Berkshire) in September. The group aims to double in size over the next three years. David Clulow outlets will total 25 by the end of March, plus 12 franchises continuing to trade under the Optika name. Seven concessions in department stores are also operated by the group, which has a total of 44 outlets.
