Daysoft Group has reported a rise in sales growth and profit

Contact lens manufacturer Daysoft Group has reported a rise in sales growth of 4.8% to £12.85 million, and a rise in profit of 26% to just over £2 million in its 2017 audited accounts.

Earnings before tax also showed a significant growth of 23% to over £2.9 million.

Ron Hamilton, executive chairman, said: ‘This clearly demonstrates successful brand substitution of soft-spherical contact lenses across all modalities and materials. We have now successfully switched over 400 million lenses to our Daysoft brand, from over 200 brands made by the major contact lens producers.’
