De Rigo is planning to build on its Police Partner Programme after positive feedback from practices and an increase it its network reach.

De Rigo has also started to roll out its Lozza Sartoriale tailor-made collection. This is a process which builds a personalised frame for customers from a selection of components within the collection. These are selected in a range of styles, materials colours and sizes and a bespoke product is built up for the client. This was exclusively revealed to Optician and a feature will appear shortly.

Clapton said some of the most popular elements of the Police Programme were the positive cashflow generation, practice support, training and promotions. ‘I want to stand shoulder to shoulder with those independents to build some longevity.’ He said Sartoriale and the Luxury programme would help cement De Rigo’s position at the luxury end of the market. ‘We do not want to become a Starbucks, one on every corner, if our practices are too close together it becomes counterproductive.’
